Support chatbot¶
A customer-support assistant that must never leak customer PII to the provider, should resist prompt injection, must stay within a per-customer spend limit, and should keep answering during a provider outage.

What callm does here
- Emails, phone numbers and card numbers in user and assistant turns are replaced by stable placeholders before the request leaves the process.
- Injection attempts raise
PromptInjectionErrorbefore anything is sent. budget_forcaps spend per customer across all their conversations;max_costcaps any single turn.- 429/529/5xx from Anthropic are retried with backoff, then the conversation is sent to
gpt-4o-mini;replystill receives an AnthropicMessage.
